2016 – a Year in our Campervan

I know, I know – it’s not over yet but as the days get cooler and the evenings draw in it’s nice to reminisce on another great year of sunshine, road trips and the great outdoors.

How many trips did you manage to get out on this year? It was a record year for me

29th – 30th Jan – Winter VOLT meet
25th – 26th Mar – Bodiam Castle campsite
14th – 16th May – German LT meet, Beverungen
27/05 – 6/06 June – NC500 VW Route 67 trip
01/05, 18/06, 25/06, 01/07 – Climping
18/07 – 07/08 – France summer holiday
19th – 21st Aug – Southern VOLT meet, Surrey
1st – 4th Sep – Festival no. 6, Portmeirion
9th – 11th Sep – Busfest, Malvern
23rd – 25th Sep – Overland Adventure Show, Stratford
30th Sept – Brighton Breeze

That’s 47 nights in the van 🙂 My idea of heaven 🙂 That’s 37% of the year! lol

Anyway here’s my retrospective highlights of the year in the van.

I know some of you have got some amazing plans for the years ahead. Ray is off to Iceland in his 4X4 LT and Jed is starting his MAN 8.150 4X4 overland truck build. Inspirational. What have you got planned?
