Northern France 2018 Camper Van Trip

Archie and I had a great week enjoying a micro-expedition of the north coast of France. Inspired by the “i love northern france – hauts de france region” Facebook page there’s actually masses to explore in this region, and given that we had one of the best summers on record in the north of Europe we didn’t have to go far to have a fabulous week away in the van.

However after a fallow couple of months with work in June & July and a sudden influx of it in AUgust it was a bit of a busman’s holiday so the week had to focus around 3 static days in a campsite to guarantee good enough wifi for conference calls.

The map above and the video below should cover all the detail. The van is an absolute dream to drive again (bloody should be after 100 days off the road and £3k on the engine rebuild!) so Archie and I loved every minute of it.
